$v = f \lambda$
- **Intuition**: $f$ is the number of waves passing a point per second, and $\lambda$ is the length of one wave. Their product must be the total distance traveled by the wave per second (speed). 
- Also, since $f = 1/T$, $v = \lambda / T$.
